The implant process

What to expect, step by step. Timelines vary from person to person.

1. Free consultation. A 3D CT (cone beam) scan, a 3D iTero® digital scan, any X-rays needed, and an exam with Dr. Broneil Ishaya. Bring your questions and a list of your medications.
2. Personalized plan. Your options, timeline, risks and an itemized fee estimate. There is no obligation to begin treatment.
3. Preparation, if needed. Extractions, gum treatment or bone grafting.
4. Implant surgery. Implants are placed, usually under local anesthesia. A temporary tooth or arch may be provided.
5. Healing. Bone bonds to the implant over several months. Recovery tips.
6. Final teeth. Your crown, bridge, snap-in denture or zirconia arch is made and fitted.
7. Maintenance. Daily cleaning and regular checkups.
